Actors are Advocates

You have to stand for something, right?

Lately, I've been observing something here in LA.

Actors believe STRONGLY!

You can't check Facebook or talk to an actor out here without recognizing this.

Vegetarians are HARDCORE vegetarians.

Liberals are HARDCORE liberals.

Conservatives are HARDCORE conservatives.

Marijuana smokers are ADVOCATES for marijuana.

Pitbull owners are ADVOCATES for Pitbulls. Etc. etc.

Actors like to stick up for the underdog. We like to advocate for others.

We are a passionate group!

This is a good thing.

Why do you think we are such advocates?

  1. Hi Donald, You posted a question about CD Workshops on my blog and I figured you'd be more likely to see my answer if I posted on your blog than just back on mine. I have to admit that overall I have not had much success with workshops - one or two auditions at the most. I find they are good audition practice, especially during slow times when I'm not going out a lot. I know people who have a lot of success with them, but I don't have any hard evidence from my life that they have helped me much.

    1. Thanks for responding Michelle! People seem to be very hot or cold with regards to CD workshops. I'm thinking about starting a CD Workshop experiment for a month or two. I can def see the value in them but I can also see the potential waste of money.
